The electric kettle I own has been around for several years and I still use it. It is a Tomado TM-1356 cordless electric kettle.

This kettle has a capacity of 1.7 litres, a glass jug with LED lighting and an output of 2200 watts. The model I have is no longer being sold, but the most recent comparable model currently costs € 18.99 ($ 22.27 or £ 16.21).
If my current electric kettle were to break down, I might consider getting a gooseneck model. Although the price is considerably higher, a gooseneck kettle gives you greater control of flow rate and lets you be more precise with where you are pouring the water. So it makes brewing coffee easier.
